The members of the management and quality assurance boards of the COSI project met at Brussels the 29 and 30 November 2017. During these two days, they discussed several topics.

The main output of these discussions is that the name of the COSI program will be from September 2018: Computational Colour and Spectral Imaging (same acronym as before) with two new specializations: Computational Spectral Imaging in Finland and Color and Visual Computing in Norway (same mobility scheme as before). The main innovation of the new COSI curriculum is that COSI students will develop from 2018 knowledge, skills and competences in two main discipline domains: Color and Spectral Science and Data Mining and Machine Learning (deep learning).
